The project documentation at the level of technical-economic study (TES) solved the revitalization and electrification of the Hrušovany u Brna - Židlochovice line, which was not used for passenger transport for 30 years. Directional guidance is provided by two left-hand arches (R1 = 190 m and R2 = 500 m), the maximum longitudinal slope was designed 14.8 ‰.
The study proposed a partial reconstruction of the existing state in the Hrušovany railway station near Brno with a new track in the direction of Židlochovice and a new platform. For the Židlochovice station, a completely new track head and two new external platforms were designed. The limiting element for the design and technical solution was mainly the management of a large part of the route in the inundation area of the Svratka River.
The proposal for revitalization of the Hrušovany u Brna - Židlochovice line was solved in coordination with the study of the shift of the Židlochovice Bus Terminal to the area of the new "pre-station area".
